Job posting dataset
Aura’s job postings dataset contains over 550M global job postings. Data is available back to January 2019, and is updated weekly.
For each individual job posting, we provide company name, industry, posted date, geographical details, job title, job role, required skills and advertised salary. This dataset can help provide insights into roles, salary & skillsets that employers are seeking, while benchmarking competitor’s hiring practices.
Questions answered by this dataset on Job Market/ Salary:
- Which mid-sized US companies are hiring the most AI Engineers?
- Has demand increased or decreased for the skill "Artificial Intelligence" in the last 6 months?
- What type of roles is Apple hiring this month?
- How long does the average job posting for a web developer stay up in Paris?
- What is the salary range for a given occupation?
- How much are companies X, Y, Z paying for a given occupation?
- How has the average salary grown since 2019?

A quick note on Aura’s data coverage:
- Overall, Aura covers ~80% of all LinkedIn profiles, with better coverage in
- Central G&A and R&D functions / white-collar roles
- English-speaking countries (US, UK, India) & Western Europe
- Certain industries, including tech, professional services, and financial services, due to the fact that for some industries, employees might not have a LinkedIn profile to begin with (e.g., manufacturing)
