Promotion count is computed by summing the numbers of employees which experienced a change in job title while remaining in the same role.
A promoted employee example:
- Jane was a Junior Data Scientist (Analytics Role) between January 1st, 2019 to February 1st, 2021
- Jane is a Data Scientist (Analytics Role) from February 1st, 2021
A non-promoted employee example:
- Jane was a Junior Data Scientist (Analytics Role) between January 1st, 2019 to February 1st, 2021
- Jane is a Junior Product Manager (Product Role) from February 1st, 2021
